Seeking an open office concept for their Bronx administrative office, they hoped to minimize barriers for a wide open view. A popular layout of O2™ Benching Workstations was ideal for their open floor plan office.

Our senior space planner headed up this office move and crafted a smart workspace design with long rows of 5’x5.5’ L-shaped benching desks. One file storage cabinet per individual workstation was plenty for digital/paperless work. Frosted glass desk dividers add classy style, and in a post-pandemic world are also valued as cubicle sneeze guards.

Low office partition panels in a benching furniture application has 3 main advantages. First, 39”H office panel walls sit 9” above the desk work surfaces – enough to define an area without visually blocking it. Second, the panel bases carry data cabling and electrical power to each station. Third, each office panel supports the main laminate work surfaces and their adjoining desk left return or desk right return.

Open H legs support each side of the desktop desk. These H style table legs can hold 100’s of lbs. and have an artful styling that makes them popular in modern open office design.
