Statement
Since 1987, Calmax Technology has been a leader in precision machined components and electro-mechanical assemblies. From prototyping to machining to assembly, their engineering staff services Fortune 500 customers across technology, automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, and medical industries.
The client had a small office space where they wanted a handful of engineering cubicles large enough for their engineers to spread out and perform their work. Based on the office space available we created a workspace design with six 6x8 cubicles from our O2™ Corporate Office Furniture brand of cubicle systems.
Since the nature of the engineers’ work is primarily independent and requires focus, we used 67”H cubicle partitions, fully wrapped around each desk area, to provide adequate separation. Each station is equipped with 2 filing pedestals and an overhead locking office cabinet.
We created a cubicle color scheme from the O2-Style finish program, which includes a dark blue cubicle fabric that’s a close match to the company’s corporate logo.
