The client was looking for office furniture in Austin Texas for their new open office space. Being a client-facing office area, the interior design solution needed to be welcoming, engaging, and incorporate their well-known corporate colors for a bright office interior, with design elements as hot as the city itself!
Optima™ Open Office Workstations provide semi-private workspaces that are also conducive to frequent staff collaboration. How did our interior design team accomplish the best of both worlds? By combining low cubicle walls and 14”H frosted desk dividers with a unique zig-zag cubicle configuration. These modern workstation clusters grant each worker a well-defined individual space but keeps them accessible for work collaboration in an open office work environment.
We included helpful cubicle accessories that can inspire how to keep your desk clean and organized – panel-mounted tool rails with clip-on paper trays, and a mobile filing cabinet with cushion top. File boxes on wheels are popular because they provide ample personal storage and double as a quick seat to wheel around for impromptu meetings.
We had a lot of fun with office colors on this project. Soft grey cubicle partitions and office carpet squares provide the calm anchor that allows Wayfair’s corporate color palette to really pop with gold and plum accent walls and fun purple office chairs. The light maple laminate desktops match the office doors and create a unified cohesiveness between the office interior and office furniture finishes.
The trendy office space is as dynamic as the Wayfair brand itself.
