Statement
GoldenSource has been an enterprise data management leader for the global financial market longer than any other firm. Constantly innovating and forever agile, their forward-looking development team is always ready for the next wave of business, operations, and IT needs.
The client wanted office layout design ideas for their New York office interior. They were looking for a simple solution to group together 22 team members in an open plan office space.
We specified Xpand™ open office benching desks to create cluster workstations of 6-person and 4-person desks throughout the space, perpendicular to the office walls. Electrical & data cabling routes from the building’s walls through channels that run under the center of each bench desking unit for convenient access.
The workstation clusters consist of 30”x 60” white office desks on white desk legs, white framed desktop screens, and white mobile pedestal with cushion tops for underdesk storage.
The 18”H tackable fabric desk divider screens allow users to pin up important notes and personalize their workspace. Desktop dividers also help define individual desk areas, offer moderate privacy to each worker, and just like the file cabinet cushion tops, are an opportunity to add an accent to the office color palette.
For this corporate office interior the client chose a neutral color scheme with slate grey fabric for the tackboard panels to match the existing grey office carpet tiles. The grayscale approach creates a clean, understated, and quiet office aesthetic.
